Contest rules

1 – Contest and organizers

The "Choose my name" contest (hereinafter the "contest") is organized by Eureka-Conti Valerio Srl, Via Luigi Longo 39/41 Sesto Fiorentino (FI) (hereinafter "Eureka"). The contest shall not be subject to the ministerial approval within the meaning of the D.P.R. n. 430 dated 26/10/2001, art. 6; the contest participation is regulated exclusively by the following terms and conditions.

2 – Participation

2.1 Anyone can participate, as long as they are over the age of 18. Eureka employees, employees of affiliated companies and relevant relatives shall be precluded from participating.

2.2. Participating in the contest is limited to the period ranging from 18th November 2019 (12:00 CET) to 12th January 2020 (23:59 CET). Contest participation is free.

2.3 To enter the contest, users must complete the form issued to them by providing their personal details and the name they have chosen for the new product.

2.4 Only those persons who meet the conditions expressed in the points indicated above may participate in the contest. Eureka will not be responsible for any delayed and/or incomplete participation.

3 – Contest implementing and execution

3.1 At the end of the contest deadline (see point 2.2), Eureka's marketing & communication office (judging jury of the competition) will select the winning proposal from those received, based on imagination and representativeness of the product in question and of the Eureka brand.

3.2 In the event that the selected proposal has been submitted by more than one participant within the contest, the person who first indicated the chosen name, based on the time the form was filled in, will be declared the winner (see point 2.3).

3.3 The author of the chosen name will be given the opportunity to have his/her name displayed on Eureka’s social media, which will recognize his/her authorship on the winning name by means of graphic and textual material that will be agreed with the company itself.

3.4 The author of the chosen name:

  • will be notified by direct message via email address, as provided during the registration for the contest, within 5 days from the end of the contest.
  • must confirm receipt of the communication, his/her name and address within 3 days of being notified of the win by the competition organizers, via the means of communication specified in the notification, otherwise he/she will no longer be entitled to the recognition, which will be assigned to another participant.

4 – Closure or early termination of the contest

Eureka has the right to cancel, suspend or modify the contest if unforeseen circumstances occur, beyond the control of the organizer, that hinder the performance of the competition as originally planned or which become unsustainable for Eureka. These include in particular, but not exclusively, unauthorized interventions by third parties, technical hardware or software problems outside the sphere of influence of the organizer, as well as violations of rights that are directly associated with the conduct of the contest, in particular the manipulation of the contest's functioning.

5 – Transfer of rights

The participant transfers all common rights, copyright and related rights to Eureka, granted by him/her in the framework of the contest participation, without restrictions regarding content, time and place, so that it may make non-exclusive and arbitrarily frequent use for the purpose of local business.
